Controls Engineer - Portugal - Permanent - Data Centres - €90,000 - €100,000 + Benefits Our client is a growing organisation delivering large-scale projects across the infrastructure and technology sectors. With an ambitious growth strategy and a strong project pipeline, they offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with excellent long-term career prospects. They are currently seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team and support their current project based in Portugal. What you’ll do:

Act as technical authority for BMS, EPMS and PLC-based control systems.Review controls designs and technical submittals.Support commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, IST and integrated systems testing.Support operation and maintenance strategies for controls systems.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across automation platforms.Manage interfaces between design, delivery, commissioning and operations teams.

What you’ll need:

Degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.Extensive experience in Controls, Automation, BMS or EPMS environments.Data centre experience.Strong understanding of critical cooling and electrical infrastructure.Experience with BMS, EPMS, SCADA and PLC control systems.
