Project Engineer - Ireland - 23 months Located near Sligo, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Project Engineer to support their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The company focuses on investing in research and development to drive scientific innovation and deliver life-changing medicines. With project worldwide and continued growth across their network, this is an excellent opportunity to support a leading organisation shaping the future of healthcare. What you’ll deliver:

Manage the full lifecycle of capital engineering projects, from feasibility and budgeting through to execution, commissioning and handover.Provide engineering and technical support to site operations, troubleshooting process equipment and driving improvements in reliability and performance.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant efficiency, equipment uptime and manufacturing processes.Coordinate with production, engineering teams, contractors and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.Support process safety activities and ensure engineering projects are executed in compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee equipment commissioning, validation and installation activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Experience required:

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering or a related discipline.Experience delivering capital projects within pharmaceutical, biotech or manufacturing facilities.Strong knowledge of change control, commissioning, qualification and GMP requirements.Experience with process equipment, manufacturing systems and site utilities.Understanding of process engineering, automation, continuous improvement and equipment reliability.Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
