Senior Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities Functional Testing · Prepare and execute Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). · Review BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. · Validate business rules, workflows, approvals, and access controls. · Ensure application functionality meets business requirements. Test Case Preparation & Documentation · Create detailed test scenarios and test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios. · Prepare Test Data and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM). · Maintain test execution reports and testing documentation. · Capture screenshots and maintain testing evidence repositories. Defect Management · Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA. · Perform defect triaging and prioritization. · Conduct retesting and defect closure validation

· Experience testing role-based security, user permissions, and access controls. · Validate notifications, workflow triggers, and audit logs. JIRA Responsibilities · Create and manage JIRA Stories, Tasks, Bugs, and Test Defects. · Maintain testing updates and execution status in JIRA. · Track defect lifecycle from creation to closure. · Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities. · Experience in Data Migration Testing, Data Validation, and Reconciliation activities.

• Understanding of data mapping, data quality checks, and migration validation processes.
• Experience validating migrated data between legacy and modern applications is preferred.

Secondary Skills :

The resource should independently manage testing activities for the One Track application, Power Platform Testing · Good understanding of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform. · Experience testing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps. · Knowledge of Data verse tables, relationships, forms, views, and business rules. · Ability to validate Power Automate workflows and approval processes.
