Internship - Compliance & Information Security

We engage closely with stakeholders across the industry on regulatory, operational and other matters via our events programme, customer advisory groups and our active memberships of key industry bodies throughout the world.

The Intern will support the Compliance and Information Security team in governance, risk management, compliance monitoring, audit coordination, and documentation activities to ensure effective implementation of organisational policies and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation.
• Support the tracking and coordination of policy review schedules and document approvals.
• Maintain audit findings, action plans, and remediation trackers, and follow up with stakeholders on outstanding items.
• Support risk assessment activities, including tracking risk mitigation actions.
• Assist in conducting periodic compliance reviews, including user access reviews and system control reviews.
• Assist in information security awareness training and phishing simulation activities.
• Provide administrative and operational support for governance, risk, compliance, and information security initiatives as assigned.
• Assist in preparing and organising evidence for internal and external audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn about governance, risk management, compliance, and information security practices.
• Basic understanding of information security, cybersecurity, or risk management concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, cybersecurity frameworks, or audit processes is an advantage.
