Technical Challenges

As a vital member of the Quantum Measurement Team at Quobly, you will work on enabling high-fidelity quantum operations on our Quantum Processing Units (QPU) based on semiconductor spin qubits made using industrial FD-SOI technology.

Collaboration

You will work collaboratively with other teams to:

• Build and perform calibration sequences to bring the quantum device to its operating point.
• Design and implement optimal control sequences to enable quantum operations.
• Characterize and benchmark the quantum processes to enable high fidelity operations on the QPU.

You Are Special Because

• PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent industry experience.
• Good understanding of semiconductor spin qubits.
• Experience in developing software (python) to interface with hardware and for data analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in coherent control, characterization, and benchmarking of spins in solid state systems or other qubit systems.
• Experience with collaborative software development (version control, code review, etc.) and knowledge of good practices.
• Familiarity with the use of RF electronics (AWG, MW signal generators, IQ mixers) and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of CMOS devices, particularly the physics at low temperatures.
• Experience with cryogenic systems, in particular dilution refrigerators.
