Assistant Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We are supporting a leading global technology and gaming company in the recruitment of an Assistant Marketing Manager to support the local expansion of one of its major mobile gaming products across Uzbekistan and the wider CIS region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketing professional with strong knowledge of local digital, gaming and entertainment trends.

Key Responsibilities

Provide insights and reports on marketing, communication and entertainment trends across Uzbekistan and CIS markets.

Research local influencers/KOLs, content creators, trending brands, advertising campaigns and entertainment trends.

Support the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns for a major global mobile gaming product.

Coordinate with marketing, community management, User Acquisition, content, agency and global publishing teams.

Support influencer, content, digital and local market activation initiatives.

Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc marketing/business performance reports.

Support regular alignment meetings with internal teams and external partners.

Prepare meeting recaps, action points and campaign updates.

Coordinate marketing materials and information across multiple stakeholders.

Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive campaign assets, information and documentation.

Candidate Requirements

1-3 years of marketing experience, with at least 1 year of professional experience required.

Experience within gaming, entertainment, technology, digital media or consumer brands is highly preferred.

Strong interest in mobile gaming and gaming culture.

Fluent English and Russian - mandatory.

Uzbek, Kazakh and/or Chinese language skills are advantageous.

Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Exposure to digital marketing, brand marketing, product marketing, advertising or influencer marketing.

Good understanding of the Uzbekistan/CIS social media and influencer landscape.

Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.

Proactive, organized and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working with international and cross-cultural teams.

Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Contract & Eligibility

This is a full-time, 1-year fixed-term contractor position through a third-party employment agency, with potential annual renewal subject to performance and business requirements.

The role is fully onsite in Tashkent.

The maximum salary budget is USD 1,800 per month, depending on experience.

Mandatory benefits will be provided in accordance with local employment requirements. No additional bonus or supplementary commercial insurance is included.

Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Uzbekistan without employer visa sponsorship.
