As the Executive Housekeeper you bring an unparalleled commitment to excellence, a detail-driven approach and a genuine passion for maintaining an impeccable guest experience to our dynamic Housekeeping Team.

  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring flawless cleanliness, orderliness and presentation throughout the resort, driven by daily walk-throughs and quality checks.
  • Establish and maintain the highest hygiene and quality standards in all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, including proper usage, labelling and training around chemicals and cleaning supplies.
  • Work closely with the Front Office Manager on room availability and the Chief Engineer on room maintenance, ensuring seamless guest experiences across departments.
  • Develop schedules, allocate tasks, and oversee budget and inventory management of cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms, in line with hotel financial forecasts and labour standards.
  • Train, motivate and inspire your team through ongoing coaching, technical and safety training, and clear performance feedback that upholds our luxury service standards.
  • Monitor guest feedback and service scores, resolving concerns with empathy and continuously improving housekeeping operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including statutory requirements, pest eradication protocols and staff training on hazardous supplies.
  • Proficient in all Housekeeping procedures, with strong operational and technical knowledge to be a resource when needed.
  • A proven track record in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years' departmental leadership experience managing a large team within a quality environment and/or with a demonstrated focus on exceptional guest service.
  • Previous Laundry management experience, with the operational versatility to oversee multiple functions at once.
  • Commercially aware, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle several operations in parallel.
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of PMS (Opera preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Tertiary qualified, with certification in OHS, First Aid and Chemical Handling will be preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
