Key Responsibilities of the Cost Controller:
- Monitoring and analyzing project or operational costs.
- Preparing cost reports and forecasts.
- Ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborating with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Implementing cost control procedures and policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency with financial and project management software.
- Good understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant experience or certification in cost management or financial control (such as Certified Cost Controller or equivalent).
