Working Student Finance (m/f/x)

Your mission

As a working student in Finance, you'll be part of our finance team. You'll contribute to our day-to-day financial processes and help us continuously improve our internal workflows.

• Day-to-day finance processes: You handle ongoing financial processes and support the preparation of reports and analyses that give a clear picture of business performance.
• Invoice management: You check incoming and outgoing invoices for completeness and accuracy and ensure they are booked correctly.
• Travel management: You take ownership of our group travel bookings, become the go-to expert for our travel booking tool, and prepare the related financial reports.
• Travel expenses & reimbursements: You manage travel expense reports, check receipts against our policy, and ensure everything is processed quickly and correctly.
• Financial closing: You contribute to our closing activities and prepare evaluations and analyses.
• Documentation & knowledge management: You create process documentation in Confluence, strengthening knowledge sharing and transparency across the company.
• Process automation & AI: You spot automation potential in our financial processes, apply AI tools where they make sense, and make our workflows more efficient.

Your profile

• Studies: You are in an advanced stage of your studies in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Initial insights into finance through internships or working-student roles are an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Interest: You are enthusiastic about finance topics and want to develop further in a fast-growing start-up environment.
• Organisational skills: You prioritise several tasks in parallel, work efficiently, and keep track of the details.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
• IT skills: Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experienced with AI tools such as Claude or GPT.
