Job Position: IT Officer

Job Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


Provide technical support to staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, projectors, and other IT-related devices.
Manage and maintain the school's computer networks, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi systems.
Ensure the security, integrity, and regular backup of data and information systems.
Maintain and update software, operating systems, and antivirus applications.
Support the effective use of digital learning platforms, educational software, and other technology tools.
Monitor IT infrastructure and promptly resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and other technology resources.
Implement and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and data protection procedures.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for classes, meetings, and school events.
Train and guide staff on the effective use of IT systems and digital tools.


Requirements


B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Good understanding of computer networking, internet connectivity, and network security.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general IT support tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data backup, and data protection best practices.
Experience with school management systems, learning management systems, or ERP platforms is an added advantage.
Relevant IT certifications are an added advantage.
