Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Technical Excellence and Sustainable Design Delivery

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for ESD projects, from early concept design through to project completion.
  • Lead sustainability strategies for high-performance buildings, including passive design, active systems integration, low-carbon design, and climate-responsive solutions.
  • Provide consultancy for green building certifications, including Green Mark, LEED, WELL, and other relevant regional certification frameworks.
  • Guide the team in advanced building performance analysis, including energy modelling, thermal comfort studies, daylight analysis, solar studies, and environmental simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, civil engineers, landscape consultants, and construction teams to integrate sustainable design principles into projects.
  • Support the integration of sustainability strategies with MEP systems to deliver practical, efficient, and buildable solutions.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded sustainability professional with relevant experience in the ESD industry.

Educational Background

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sustainable design, environmental engineering, ESD consultancy, green building certification, or building performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of supporting or leading projects from concept design through to completion.
  • Experience in the construction industry and regional projects would be an advantage.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of green building systems, passive and active design strategies, low-carbon design, and climate-responsive building design.
  • Familiarity with building performance and design tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp, and relevant energy or environmental simulation software.
  • Experience with green building certification frameworks such as Green Mark, LEED, or equivalent systems.
  • Ability to translate sustainability strategies into practical design recommendations for clients and project teams.

  • Strong interest in growing Ramboll’s sustainability presence in Singapore.
  • Confident in meeting clients and building professional networks.
  • Passionate about sustainable design, climate resilience, and high-performance buildings.
  • Able to combine technical knowledge with commercial awareness.
  • Enjoys mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth.

What we can offer you

  • The opportunity to play a key role in growing Ramboll’s ESD presence in the region.
  • Exposure to high-profile sustainable building projects across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
