About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year - far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a Product Operations Specialist for Ramp Travel, you will help build and scale the workflows that make business travel simple, reliable, and well-controlled for our customers. You will own the operational health of meaningful parts of the Travel product experience, from booking and policy workflows through expense automation and issue resolution.
You will work at the intersection of customer needs, product development, and operational execution. In close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, customer-facing teams, and external travel partners, you will use data and customer feedback to identify friction, shape the roadmap, improve product quality, and support high-impact launches.
Beyond the Travel vertical, you will contribute to the systems and tooling that enable Ramp's Product and Engineering organizations to scale. You will use AI tools to improve release management, customer-feedback collection, internal enablement, and support processes, while directly shipping improvements that reduce customer friction.
*Please note that this Product Operations role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week*
What You’ll Do
Own the voice-of-customer loop for Travel by systematically capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing feedback from customers, CX, Sales, and internal stakeholders
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate customer feedback and operational insights into actionable product requirements, recommendations, and roadmap priorities
Build product analytics and use data to identify opportunities to improve adoption, booking success, policy compliance, supportability, quality, and overall traveler experience
Own launch operations for new Travel features, from alpha through general availability, including release readiness, documentation, internal enablement, and feedback loops
Directly ship product improvements, including UX fixes and operational tooling, using AI and low-code tools to reduce customer friction quickly
Design and improve scalable operating systems for issue escalation, incident management, release readiness, supportability, and internal communication
Identify and automate manual processes that help Ramp scale while improving consistency and reliability for customers and internal teams
Manage operational relationships with relevant travel partners and vendors, including monitoring performance, surfacing issues, and supporting joint improvement plans
Become a subject-matter expert in the end-to-end Travel customer experience and connect daily customer pain points to the teams best positioned to solve them
