After Hours Hospital Coordinator

This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours.

• Support and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, processes, and services.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.
• Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Clinical Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Work closely with on-shift doctors to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
• Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services, contributing to strategic goals and objectives.

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

You will also bring;

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience - Midwifery, Neonatal, SCN & NICU, General Medical & Surgical (Women’s Health) experience desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model
• Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
