Lead the Operational Excellence of Ravago's Global SAP Landscape

At Ravago, we are looking for a SAP Run Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of our global SAP environment. In this strategic leadership role, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and support excellence of our SAP landscape while leading a team of SAP consultants across multiple business domains.

Your role:

As SAP Run Lead, you are responsible for the operational stability and service delivery of Ravago's global SAP ecosystem. Reporting to the SAP Competence Center Lead, you will act as the driving force behind our SAP Run organization and ensure that business-critical SAP services are delivered efficiently, reliably, and in line with agreed service levels.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, SAP experts, and external service providers to guarantee seamless support operations while supporting Ravago's ongoing SAP transformation journey.

Your responsibilities:

Operational Stability & Service Delivery

• Lead the day-to-day SAP Run organization and ensure optimal service delivery across the SAP landscape.
• Safeguard system availability, performance, and operational continuity.
• Ensure agreed SLAs and business service levels are consistently achieved.
• Minimize downtime and proactively address operational risks.
• Oversee the smooth transition of projects, deployments, and enhancements into steady-state operations, including hypercare support.

Incident & Problem Management

• Own the end-to-end incident and problem management process.
• Coordinate critical issue resolution and ensure timely escalation when required.
• Lead root-cause analysis initiatives and drive structural improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
• Ensure clear communication during major incidents and business disruptions.
• Promote continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and effective knowledge management.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SAP Consultants across multiple process domains.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing within the Run organization.
• Coordinate resource planning, workload distribution, on-call schedules, and peak-period coverage.
• Align SAP support priorities with business and IT objectives.

Governance & Vendor Management

• Monitor SAP and third-party service providers against contractual obligations and service level agreements.
• Lead service reviews and manage escalations when commitments are not met.
• Ensure compliance with SAP Competence Center governance, processes, and audit requirements.
• Monitor consumption and capacity against agreed SAP contractual volumetrics.
• Report operational performance, risks, SLA adherence, and improvement initiatives to senior IT leadership and steering committees.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP application support, managed services, or application management.
• Proven track record in incident management, problem management, and service delivery within complex international environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating SAP support teams.
• ITIL Foundation Certification (v3 or v4).
• Strong knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and end-to-end business processes across:
  • Finance (R2R)
  • Order-to-Cash (OTC)
  • Procure-to-Pay (PTP)
  • Manufacturing
  • Warehouse & Supply Chain Operations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience managing service providers and operational KPIs.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• ITIL Intermediate or advanced certification.
• SAP functional certifications.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience within SAP modules such as R2R, OTC, PTP, MTD, or WHS.
• Experience within chemicals, plastics, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience testing.
• Additional European language skills.
• Experience leading executive-level service review meetings.
