About the role
The role of the Packaging Tech is to provide the technical and operational skills needed to deliver world class results in the key areas of Line Efficiencies, Quality, and Cost while meeting our high standards of Safety, Customer Service, and Teamwork
This is a DAY shift, 12 hr shifts, 3 - 4 shifts per week w/alternating weekends.
Pay: $20/hr
Your responsibilities
- Operate a case packer, verifying code dates and correct components.
- Operate filler equipment, perform component checks, and conduct quality inspections including code dates and case seals/glue.
- Stack pallets while verifying code dates, quantities, and overall product quality
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment, GMP and safety standards
- Strong communication skills for department collaboration
The experience we're looking for
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate a packaging line and related equipment (i.e. startup, clearing jams, manual operations, and shutdown).
Assist in changeovers, wash outs and preventative maintenance.
The skills for success
Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments to maximize run time.
Ability to use electronic devices for data entry and reporting purposes.
Strong communication skills and proficient of the English language, both verbal and written.
