Join Tellent, a talent management suite that combines an ATS, HRIS, and Performance Management with AI capabilities. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will work on cross-product improvements, build shared foundations and integrations, and collaborate with various teams. Enjoy benefits such as hybrid work, flexible hours, a training budget, well-being support, and more.
Missions
- Senior-level judgment: when to refactor, when to ship, when good enough is good enough. Especially: when to follow a product's existing conventions rather than bring your own- Comfortable with synchronous collaboration: we balance sync and async work. Expect regular pairing and real-time problem solving alongside independent work
- Real frontend experience in production: React or Angular, ideally exposure to both. This is not a bonus here, it's part of the job
- Range over depth in any one stack: you've worked across several codebases and technologies and are comfortable being the newcomer in one while being the expert in another
- Communication: you can explain trade-offs to product people and hold your own in technical discussions across teams that don't share a stack. Fluent English
- Product thinking: you ask why before building, push back on requirements that don't serve the user, prototype cheaply, and are fine being wrong quickly
- Strong backend experience, with Elixir (Phoenix; PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Oban) as a real head start. People join us from other stacks and learn Elixir on the job, so strong fundamentals plus proof you pick up languages fast also works
