Position Overview
The client is a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in Singapore, specializing in innovative solutions across various digital platforms. The client works with venture capitalists and startups and serves clients across multiple jurisdictions, including Bali.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper based in Bali to join the client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of multiple entities across various geographies. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work while providing essential financial support to growing businesses.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple entities using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Dext, and FathomHQ.
Record and categorize daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
Prepare withholding tax and social contribution reports for filing with relevant authorities.
Collaborate with clients' tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping processes tailored to each client's needs.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
Identify innovative ways to streamline and improve financial reporting and compliance processes.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably supporting startups or small businesses.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in Xero and Dext, or similar cloud-based accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with strong English proficiency.
FathomHQ or similar consolidation/reporting tool experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with international tax regulations, consolidation methods, and multi-currency transactions is a plus.
Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper or Xero Certification are advantageous.

Salary: IDR 7,500,000 gross per month
