About the Role
We’re looking for experienced General Counsels and technology transactions lawyers to help evaluate and improve how AI systems handle real-world contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.
You’ll apply practical legal judgment to simulated contract negotiations and contract review scenarios, assess AI-generated responses, and develop objective evaluation criteria for measuring the quality of AI performance.
The role is particularly suited to lawyers with substantial in-house technology transactions experience and hands-on expertise negotiating commercial agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and DPAs.
What You’ll Do
Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios.
Evaluate whether proposed contract language appropriately identifies and addresses legal and commercial risks.
Provide detailed expert feedback to improve the accuracy and precision of AI-generated contract analysis.
Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining tasks.
Apply practical judgment to assess contract language, risk allocation, and negotiation positions.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine evaluation data, guidelines, and best practices.
Translate complex legal reasoning into clear, actionable feedback that can be used to improve AI systems.
What We’re Looking For
At least 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
Strong hands-on experience negotiating and reviewing commercial technology agreements.
Experience with:
Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements (ISDAs)
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Strong contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills.
Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, structured feedback.
Experience working with cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Interest in the application of technology and AI to legal work.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with AI or legal technology.
Experience contributing to legal training, evaluation, or knowledge initiatives.
Exposure to AI-assisted contract review or legal workflows.
Experience developing legal evaluation frameworks, guidelines, or quality standards.
