About the Role
We’re looking for experienced Investment Funds Attorneys to help evaluate and improve how AI systems handle real-world investment funds and transactional legal work.
You’ll apply hands-on legal expertise to simulated contract negotiations, drafting, review, and redlining exercises. You’ll also assess AI-generated legal responses and develop structured evaluation criteria for measuring the quality, accuracy, and practical usefulness of AI performance.
The role is particularly suited to attorneys with corporate law firm experience in investment funds and familiarity with fund formation and related transactional documentation.
What You’ll Do
Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises involving investment funds and related transactions.
Review and assess AI-generated responses to legal and contract scenarios.
Evaluate contract language for legal accuracy, risk allocation, completeness, and practical commercial judgment.
Provide detailed expert feedback to improve AI-generated legal analysis.
Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for investment funds and transactional legal tasks.
Apply professional judgment when assessing drafting, negotiation positions, and proposed revisions.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal evaluation data, guidelines, and best practices.
Translate complex legal reasoning into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
What We’re Looking For
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
At least 2 years of experience in the investment funds department of a corporate law firm.
Familiarity with standard investment funds and M&A-related agreements.
Hands-on experience with documents such as:
Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs)
Subscription Agreements
Side Letters
Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong analytical and legal reasoning capabilities.
Ability to translate legal expertise into structured, actionable feedback.
Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Interest in the intersection of law and technology.
Preferred Experience
Prior exposure to AI or legal technology.
Experience with legal training or evaluation initiatives.
Familiarity with AI-assisted legal workflows.
Experience developing legal guidelines, evaluation frameworks, or quality standards.
