Category Manager (f/m/x) - remote

We're looking for a Category Manager to help us scale the attractiveness of our assortment across Europe. For the categories you own, you'll drive their growth strategy, leverage data to identify the biggest opportunities across supply, demand, and the on-site experience, and ensure we consistently deliver a competitive and attractive offering to customers.

You'll report to the Category Management Team Lead and work closely with the rest of the Supply team (Business Development and Account Management), as well as the Marketing and Product teams.

WHO YOU ARE:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a category management or commercial analytics role, in a dynamic e-commerce and/or marketplace environment.
• Highly analytical and structured - you turn data into clear insights and prioritised actions.
• Strong commercial acumen - you understand marketplace supply and demand dynamics.
• Experienced in project management - you thrive working with cross-functional teams and drive impactful results across them.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Growth mindset - persistent, proactive, and a hands-on problem solver.
• AI-advocate - you use the latest tools and technologies to work smarter and faster.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience in Consumer Electronics / Secondary Market.
• Ability to work with data beyond dashboards - e.g., Python and/or SQL.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Define the mid-term category growth strategy, including targets, assortment priorities, and category-specific opportunities to unlock growth.
• Identify and close assortment gaps (subcategories, brands, top-selling products) by working closely with the respective business developers and account managers.
• Constantly assess category performance, stock availability, and attractiveness; trigger sourcing and commercial actions to improve performance where needed.
• Prioritise initiatives to improve the on-site category experience, product presentation, and customer journey with our product team, based on competitor insights and customer data.
• Automate processes so you spend more time understanding insights and crafting recommendations rather than doing analysis.
• Act as the category expert and point of contact for internal teams.
