Description
REIC Rentals based in Redmond, is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends).
What you will do
As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:
- Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
- Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
- Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
- Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance
Top candidates will have:
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience
- Minimum two (2) years of driving experience REQUIRED
- Experience in construction is preferred
- Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving
- Excessive speed

Physical demands
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day
