Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Scope Definition: Define project goals, establish work breakdown structures, prepare cost estimates, and map out master schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage financial resources, monitor expenditures, review subcontractor and supplier bids, track material quantities, and prevent cost overruns.
• Stakeholder and Team Coordination: Act as the central liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, government regulators, site supervisors, and trade contractors.
• Schedule and Progress Tracking: Monitor day-to-day and milestone progress against the Critical Path Method (CPM), mitigating delays and handling schedule adjustments.
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all civil works such as concrete, steel, and earthworks comply with local building codes, environmental laws, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering
• Must be registered with COREN/NSE
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant industry experience
• Must have at least 5 years of consistent work experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities
• Firm, assertive, and professional personality
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and project management
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
