Job Description
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt, including models, transformations, testing, macros, and deployment.
- Strong Experience in dbt tool , preferably Core-to-dbt Cloud migration
- Strong experience with Snowflake and cloud data warehouse concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Fivetran or similar modern data ingestion/ELT platforms.
- Strong experience with Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Experience in Cortex AI
- Experience with data pipeline development, data transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude and Snowflake AI capabilities.
Secondary Skills: (Preferred Qualifications)
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and distributed data processing.
- Experience with Terraform (i.e. Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms/services in Azure/AWS and data engineering ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Product Analytics concepts, metrics, KPIs, product usage analytics, customer journeys, funnels, retention, and behavioral analytics.
- Experience working with semantic layers, metadata, business metrics, or semantic agents.
