Relativity Space is an American launch company founded in 2015 that set out to manufacture rockets primarily through very large metal three-dimensional printing rather than conventional fabrication. After launching the small Terran 1 vehicle once in 2023, it cancelled that programme to concentrate entirely on Terran R, a larger partially reusable rocket aimed at the medium-lift commercial and government market. Headquartered in Long Beach, California with test facilities at Stennis Space Center, the company was recapitalised in 2025 under new leadership from Google's former chief executive Eric Schmidt.

At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. But that’s just the start. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation, pioneering progress that reaches beyond the known.

Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. Here, you're not just executing tasks; you're solving problems that haven’t been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Whether you’re in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you’ll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. Now is a unique moment in time where it’s early enough to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

About the Team:

The Stennis Test team designs, builds, and operates Relativity’s propulsion and stage test stands. Team members are hands-on with large-scale, complex systems including fully integrated engines and stage assemblies, pushing hardware to the limits and directly contributing to flight readiness. The work is fast-paced and highly operational, ideal for those with backgrounds in aviation, automotive, manufacturing, offshore operations, industrial systems, construction, or adjacent industries. You’ll work in a close-knit, dynamic environment where collaboration between technicians, operators, and engineers is not only encouraged, but expected. As the company scales, the Stennis Test team becomes even more critical to unlocking our next phase of growth: proving out full-stage systems and paving the way for routine, reliable flights of Terran R.

About the Role:

As a Logistics Specialist III, you will perform logistical operations throughout the site to support testing milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming packages by verifying contents against packing slips and purchase orders, conducting inspections for accuracy and damage, and documenting any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for the on-site movement and timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment across the site to support ongoing operations and project needs, including operating telehandler-style forklifts to load and unload heavy, bulky infrastructure materials such as pipe, structural steel, and large assemblies.
  • Prepare items for departure by packaging, labeling, and organizing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Proactively carry out tasks in compliance with established procedures, instructions, and specifications to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Monitor, maintain, and track accurate inventory levels of parts, consumables, tooling, and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow and operations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate and successfully execute a variety of projects and initiatives.

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, including managing material flow, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory and shipping/receiving documentation, and supporting efficient operations and project timelines.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks for loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. unassisted, stand for extended periods, and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures, policies, and standard operating processes.
  • Works well with others and communicates clearly, collaborating with teammates and interacting professionally with colleagues and customers. Stays detail-oriented and proactive to keep work accurate, safe, and running smoothly, and is able to solve problems, think creatively, and step in to fix issues with a hands-on, self-motivated approach.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Hands-on material handling experience within an industrial environment, including loading, unloading, staging, and moving large or heavy materials such as raw steel, pipe, and valves.
  • Advanced experience operating warehouse equipment such as overhead cranes, telehandler-style forklifts, power tools, or other heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with safe rigging practices while handling large, bulky materials, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency
