Relativity Space scores B on the Alion truth index (A is best, E worst), measured over 60 open roles re-checked against its own hiring board: 0% look like ghost listings, 90% have gone stale and 0% are the same role posted again. Its roles close in a median of 64 days. It measures how much of what this employer publishes turns into a real, finite search - not the employer as a workplace. How the index is computed
Overview
Relativity Space is an American launch company founded in 2015 that set out to manufacture rockets primarily through very large metal three-dimensional printing rather than conventional fabrication. After launching the small Terran 1 vehicle once in 2023, it cancelled that programme to concentrate entirely on Terran R, a larger partially reusable rocket aimed at the medium-lift commercial and government market. Headquartered in Long Beach, California with test facilities at Stennis Space Center, the company was recapitalised in 2025 under new leadership from Google's former chief executive Eric Schmidt.

Launch Services
Commercial and government launch contracts signed well before the vehicle enters service. The backlog built on this basis funded much of the development programme, and it is also the commitment the company is now judged against as it works toward a first flight.
relativityspace.com
Stargate Printers
The very large metal additive manufacturing machines the company built to print rocket structures. They were the founding technical thesis of the business, though the production approach has since become a mix of printing and conventional manufacturing.
relativityspace.com
Aeon Engines
The methane and liquid oxygen engine family developed in house for the launch vehicles. Engine development is the long pole in any new rocket programme, and building it internally is what determines the company's schedule.
relativityspace.com
Terran R
A medium-lift partially reusable launch vehicle designed to recover its first stage. It is the company's entire commercial focus after the smaller Terran 1 programme was cancelled, and it competes for the launch contracts currently concentrated with a single dominant provider.
