RELX is a British information and analytics group formed in 1993 through the merger of Reed International and the Dutch publisher Elsevier, and it has since converted a print publishing business into a subscription data company. It operates four divisions: Elsevier in scientific and medical research, risk analytics covering insurance and financial crime screening, legal information through LexisNexis, and the exhibitions business RX. Headquartered in London and listed in London, Amsterdam and New York, it derives the large majority of revenue from electronic products and analytics rather than print.

About the Business

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the essential partner in the assessment of risk. Within our Business Services vertical, we help organizations make more informed decisions through data, advanced analytics and innovative technology.

Our Financial Crime Compliance solutions support organizations in managing regulatory and financial crime risks by helping them screen transactions, payments and customers, investigate alerts and make more informed risk decisions.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers.

About the Role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join a newly established team developing innovative AI-powered capabilities for Financial Crime Compliance.

This is a new strategic initiative focused on building AI agents to support alert investigation and resolution, helping customers manage high volumes of alerts, reduce false positives and improve the efficiency of their investigation workflows. The capabilities developed by the team will be designed for reuse across multiple LexisNexis Risk Solutions products.

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the product strategy and roadmap, driving customer discovery, prioritizing AI capabilities and working closely with Engineering and technology teams to bring these solutions to market. You will also collaborate with product and solution teams across the organization and communicate product direction and priorities to senior stakeholders

This role can be based in Paris or London and will work with globally distributed teams across Europe, the US, India and Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for new AI-powered and Agentic AI capabilities, identifying and prioritizing the use cases that will deliver the greatest customer and business value.
  • Lead customer discovery activities to understand customer needs, investigation workflows and pain points, translating those insights into clear product priorities and requirements.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and technology teams to define, develop and deliver AI-enabled product capabilities using technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning and AI agents.
  • Evaluate and prioritize potential AI agent skills and capabilities, building clear hypotheses and recommendations to support product and investment decisions.
  • Work across multiple product and solution teams to ensure centrally developed capabilities can be effectively integrated and reused across the broader product portfolio.
  • Use customer insights, product metrics and data to support decision-making, define KPIs and measure product quality, effectiveness and adoption.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and communicate product strategy, priorities, progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and other customer-facing teams to support go-to-market strategy, product positioning and successful adoption.
  • Ensure AI-powered capabilities are developed responsibly, working with Legal, Risk and Compliance stakeholders on areas including transparency, privacy, security, reliability and customer trust.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment, balancing strategic product leadership with the ability to move quickly from discovery to delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong Product Management experience with ownership of complex technology products or product capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience taking technology products from discovery and concept through development, launch and continuous improvement.
  • Previous exposure to AI-powered products or capabilities is essential, with a good understanding of concepts such as AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI. Candidates do not need to be AI engineers, but should be comfortable working with these technologies and discussing them with technical teams.
  • Strong customer discovery experience with the ability to translate customer problems and market insights into product strategy and priorities.
  • Proven ability to work closely with Engineering, Data Science and other technical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage directly with customers and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive product decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Experience within Financial Crime Compliance or financial services is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from other industries can be considered where they demonstrate strong Product Management capabilities and relevant AI experience.
  • Fluent English is essential. French is advantageous for candidates based in Paris but is not a requirement.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline is preferred but not essential.
