Expectation

Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, space systems engineering or aerospace engineering5+ years of industry experience in developing complex systems and space concepts including space mission analysis, system engineering, or orbit designUnderstanding of space trajectories and orbitsUnderstanding of spacecraft operational conceptsKnowledge of mission analysis tools (e.g. Ansys STK)Knowledge of requirement management and related tools (e.g. Polarion)Knowledge about Mission and/or System Engineer activities and their involvement in development projectsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to make critical decisions under pressureAbility to work independently and in a teamInitiative takingEffective communicationStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesFluent English

Understanding of autonomy concepts and FDIR approachKnowledge in flight dynamics disciplineKnowledge in satellite communications disciplineStrong understanding of satellite subsystems including power, propulsion, attitude control, communication, and payloadExperience in mission concept studiesExperience in constellation or multi-satellite mission designExperience in conducting orbit design, propagation, and station-keeping analysisFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices in satellite operations including ECSS, NMHH or ITU regulations
