Experience - 2+ Years

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile development

team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in building and

maintaining Android applications. You should be proficient in Kotlin and Java, have a strong

understanding of Android SDK, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or

Java.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.).
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 -5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal

with different screen sizes.

• Experience with MVVM/MVP architecture, Jetpack components, LiveData,

ViewModel, etc.

• Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, and Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and agile development processes.
• Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and UI testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices in mobile development.
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
