About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-priority hiring initiatives over a six-month engagement. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and People leadership to deliver a thoughtful, inclusive, and efficient hiring experience. Candidates with experience recruiting in sustainability, climate, or mission-driven organizations are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, from intake through offer and close.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles.
Proactively source and engage diverse talent using multiple channels (Lever, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
Screen and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with role requirements and organizational values.
Manage candidate experience with clear, timely, and respectful communication.
Track and report on hiring progress, pipeline health, and key metrics.
Support employer branding efforts and continuous improvement of recruiting processes.
Requirements
2-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
Strong sourcing and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously and meet tight timelines.
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools.
Ability to work East Coast hours.
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting technical, operations, or leadership roles.
Background in startups, nonprofits, or purpose-driven companies.
Familiarity with inclusive hiring practices and DEI-focused recruiting strategies.
Experience recruiting for sustainability, climate, environmental, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
