WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - DISTRIBUTION CENTRE
Location: ADI Global Distribution EMEA International Headquarters - Unit 6 Broadgate, Oldham Broadway Business Park, Chadderton, OL9 9AX Greater Manchester.
Hours: 11:30am to 8:00pm or 10:30am to 7:00pm
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution centre team. You'll help ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed and dispatched while supporting the smooth movement of stock across warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role within a fast-moving environment where attention to detail, reliability and teamwork are key. Previous warehouse experience is valuable, but we're equally interested in candidates who have developed transferable skills in logistics, stock control, fulfilment, retail stockrooms, wholesale operations, inventory management or similar environments. JOB DUTIES
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently
- Complete and check pick sheets, packing transactions and goods receipt documentation
- Load, unload and move stock safely throughout the distribution centre
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices at all times
- Support stock accuracy through effective inventory control processes
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation across warehouse operations
- Contribute towards team performance targets and service levels
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
- Support additional warehouse and distribution activities as required
YOU MUST HAVE
- The ability to accurately pick, pack and handle stock within a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using basic IT systems and digital stock or inventory tools
- Strong attention to detail when working with stock records, documentation and order accuracy
- The ability to work safely and follow Health & Safety procedures
- The physical capability to lift, move and handle stock as part of the role
- A reliable approach to attendance, punctuality and teamwork
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and ways of working
- Experience gained in warehousing, logistics, distribution, fulfilment, stock control, goods-in, goods-out or transferable operational environments would be advantageous

ANNUAL STOCK COUNT
Our annual stock count takes place from 6th to 8th November and successful candidates will play an important role in supporting the team during this key operational period.
Any additional hours worked during the stock count will be paid at the applicable overtime rate.
CHRISTMAS SHUTDOWN
Our distribution centre closes from 25th December to 1st January, giving our team the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned festive break with family and friends.
