Join our team as a Junior Data Engineer, where you'll take ownership of our existing data stack and help us structure and grow this function. You'll automate and industrialize data pipelines, work with the product team to answer business queries, and build a data quality control pipeline. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience in a production environment, strong SQL skills, and solid Python practice. Conversational English is required, and experience with ClickHouse and data science is a plus.
Missions
- Progressively take ownership of the existing data platform, becoming autonomous on topics currently handled by the data engineer and QA.
- Automate and industrialize data pipelines (ingestion, transformation) to reduce manual work and ensure reliable delivery.
- Work with the product team to answer business queries, turning business questions into reliable data answers.
Profil recherché
### Hard Skills* At least 1 year of experience as a data engineer, ideally in a production environment with reliability and scaling challenges. You've already designed or evolved ingestion and transformation pipelines, and you're comfortable navigating a modern data stack.
* Strong command of SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries on large data volumes, with a focus on performance and reliability of analytical processing.
* Solid Python practice for building robust data processing pipelines, from raw collection through to delivery to business teams.
### Soft Skills
* Conversational English required. We have several English-speaking team members.
* Curiosity along with strong written and verbal communication.
* Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.
### Nice-to-have
* Knowledge of ClickHouse
* Prior experience in data science
* Experience with API-first products
