Head, Retail Premier Broking

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven professional to join our Retail Premier Broking team. This role combines strategic business development, client relationship management, and business planning, with a strong focus on developing proposals, management papers, and presentations for senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of Retail Premier Broking solutions, expanding client relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives across the business. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong wealth management, investment, or stockbroking background who are passionate about delivering client value and influencing business outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop high-quality business proposals, management papers, and presentation materials for senior management and Management Committee discussions.
• Analyse business opportunities, market trends, and industry developments to formulate strategic recommendations and business growth initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into actionable proposals and solutions that support organizational objectives.
• Drive the growth and adoption of Retail Premier Broking solutions through marketing and business development activities.
• Build, manage, and deepen relationships with individual, affluent, High Net Worth (HNW), and corporate clients.
• Identify client needs and recommend suitable investment, brokerage, and wealth management solutions.
• Lead client acquisition initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders to expand business opportunities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and enhance client experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team to achieve business goals and performance targets.
• Support cross-selling initiatives and strengthen partnerships with internal business units.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in wealth management, retail banking, investment, stockbroking, or related financial services industries.
• Strong experience in preparing business proposals, management papers, and presentations for senior leadership audiences.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry and ability to translate business needs into practical recommendations.
• Proven track record in client relationship management, particularly within affluent, High Net Worth (HNW), and corporate segments.
• Experience leading and coaching a small team to achieve business objectives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
