We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical leadership role, demonstrating a strong track record of successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex software projects. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor engineers while driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Node.js or Ruby on Rails and a deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, including system design, scalability, reliability, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs is essential, along with a solid understanding of microservices-based applications and modern backend development practices.
  • The role also requires practical experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, including database design, optimisation, and query performance tuning.
  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in architectural discussions, conducting code reviews, and driving best engineering practices to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
