SDE 3 (Infrastructure Platform)

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Platform Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, improving platform reliability, and enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, highly available, and cost-efficient applications. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity.
• Ensure infrastructure meets high standards for reliability, scalability, security, and observability.

Reliability and Operations:

• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems.
• Drive continuous improvements in platform reliability, availability, and resilience.
• Maintain infrastructure that meets defined SLAs and operational best practices.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with application, product, and data engineering teams to understand infrastructure requirements.
• Participate in architecture reviews and system design discussions.
• Deliver stable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

Quality and Best Practices:

• Implement automated infrastructure testing and validation.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Promote secure infrastructure practices across cloud environments.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud security, compliance, or cloud cost optimization.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience with production on-call ownership.
• Background in fintech or high-volume transaction processing systems.
