The Position

Please be informed that this is a 2 years fixed term opportunity.

The Global Learning Services teams focus on executing system data maintenance and administrative activities in Cornerstone and all relevant Learning management systems as well as providing all necessary non-systems related Learning process support. Global Learning Services provides customer service and advisory support to the Learning Community and business partners on global Learning systems and processes and ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.

The Opportunity

As a Learning Specialist - German speaking you are part of a global, international team and contribute to customer experience directly. Your key responsibilities are performing complete, stringent and timely Training & Learning related administrative and organizational tasks in area and understanding its linkage to Personnel Administration and Organizational Management.

  • Providing insight, Tier 2 support and explanation on Learning system (Cornerstone), administering and updating Learning Catalog

  • Managing course enrollments for learners, managing invitations, registrations, reminders and follow-up on courses and attendance

  • Preparing and providing various Training-related reports and status updates for HR professionals and Training Owners

  • Functionality testing of new learning management system and advising and supporting business with system / testing / Learning processes

  • Providing customer service on Training related activities, such as inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting

  • Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships in a proactive and customer outcomes focused way and building relationships with other colleagues within the GLS organization as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

What can you bring to our team:

  • Ideally 1-3 years of experience in the fields of HR personnel administrative or service delivery or customer service with a college/university degree

  • Accuracy in record keeping, focus and accountability

  • The capability to multitask and handle complex cases

  • Strong customer centricity, end-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, growth & agile mindset in ambiguous situations

  • Multi-cultural acceptance, ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and fluent in written and spoken German & English.
