The Position
Join our dynamic cross-functional team as a Senior Technical Writer, where you will drive product launch success and operational excellence across complex biochemical, engineering, and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will author high-quality technical documentation and ensure the integrity of global labeling from product design through distribution. We offer a highly collaborative environment where your expertise directly shapes compliance, systems integration, and product delivery.
The Opportunity
Lead the creation, review, and release of customer facing labeling, SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation for complex manufacturing and engineering products and processes.
Utilize desktop publishing tools and enterprise content management systems efficiently to manage labeling content, graphics, translation workflows, and version control.
Coordinate labeling activities for product launches and claim extensions across all product lines, partnering with Project Managers, Product Managers, Design & Development, Quality teams, and more.
Maintain full compliance with Quality System Regulations during internal and external audits, establishing performance metrics to continuously improve practices.
Evaluate change impacts across business areas, lead labeling obsolescence initiatives, and safeguard data accuracy according to corporate standards.
Serve as an extended core team member for product launches, providing guidance to technical teams and acting as deputy site project manager as needed.
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Medical Technology, Communications, Health Science, or an equivalent discipline.
You bring 5+ years of prior technical writing, product labeling, and technical publication experience.
Preferred:
You possess working knowledge of FDA regulations, quality system guidelines, ISO standards, and operating in a highly regulated, matrixed environment.
You demonstrate excellent writing, editing, organizational, and project management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
You have the ability to work independently and creatively, as well as learning technical details of the Roche product lines and document structure.
You have prior experience with content management systems.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Branchburg,NJ is $71.300 - 132.500 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
