We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation and building scalable testing practices in a product-based environment. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on automation expertise, leadership capability and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools and frameworks.
Write and maintain scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly using defect management tools.
Collaborate with internal teams (e. g., developers and product managers) to identify and clarify system requirements.
Monitor and analyse debugging process results.
Ensure timely, high-quality releases in an Agile development environment.
Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in automation testing of mobile applications, web applications, and backend systems.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with white-box and black-box testing techniques.
Proficiency in API testing and regression testing.
Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
Strong understanding of manual testing, automation testing, and QA best practices.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Good to Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into release workflows.
Experience testing scalable, consumer-facing products.
