About the Team
Our international and agile team is looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Procurement Manager (f/m/d). If you are excited about shaping the future of spaceflight in the New Space industry, this is the right opportunity for you.
In this key role, you will operate at the interface between Engineering, Production, and Project Management, ensuring that the right components are available at the right time, with the required quality and at the best commercial conditions. Your contribution will play a vital role in building and maintaining a high-performing supply chain for innovative space technologies.

Your Tasks
- Manage the entire procurement process, from supplier inquiries and evaluation through to the successful award of technical components and services.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and framework agreements with national and international suppliers to achieve sustainable cost, quality, and delivery advantages.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing supplier portfolio while building long-term partnerships to ensure a resilient supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to implement procurement strategies for complex technical projects.
- Monitor and optimize procurement activities within the ERP system and track relevant KPIs related to cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments are met, risks are identified early, and project objectives are successfully achieved.
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience procuring technical components or assemblies within a demanding industrial environment and successfully negotiating with suppliers.
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex procurement challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage technical procurement projects and develop sustainable supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance commercial and technical requirements effectively.
- Proactive, structured, and collaborative working style, with proven success in interdisciplinary environments.
- German language proficiency at C2 level and fluent English language skills, both written and spoken is required for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience within a technology-driven industry such as Space, Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or High-Tech Manufacturing is considered as a plus.
