You will use data-driven methods to develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, inspection and testing methods, and statistical sampling techniques.

Working independently and collaboratively with program teams and customers, you will help resolve electrical, electro-optical, mechanical, and manufacturing quality issues. Successful candidates will bring practical experience with Lean Six Sigma methods and quality engineering tools.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with customers to clarify and resolve quality requirements and specifications.
  • Review engineering and manufacturing documentation-including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, tooling and test equipment documentation, and production processes-to assess compliance with customer requirements.
  • Provide hands-on quality engineering support to manufacturing teams and resolve technical and process issues.
  • Lead nonconformance investigations and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities; participate in material review and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering to communicate customer requirements and resolve supplier quality issues.
  • Identify and manage quality risks, including actions to prevent product defects and address post-delivery issues.
  • Apply applicable quality management and workmanship standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and J-STD-001 requirements.
  • Manage the quality engineering cost account within the program work breakdown structure.
  • Serve as the quality subject matter expert on program and design teams, advise on statistical quality control methods, and provide employee training.

Qualifications:
