Senior ML Engineer (Full remote within Switzerland)
This is a fully remote role in Switzerland for an international AI startup.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience deploying machine learning systems into production.
Strong understanding of modern machine learning techniques and production challenges.
Excellent software engineering skills and experience writing maintainable, production-quality code.
Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to deployment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A practical, results-oriented approach to solving technical problems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain production machine learning systems.
Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Turn research concepts into production-ready solutions.
Troubleshoot model behavior and production issues using operational data.
Continuously improve models and systems through experimentation and iteration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ML-powered capabilities.
Contribute to engineering best practices through technical leadership and mentorship.
Build systems that meet performance, reliability, scalability, and cost objectives.
