  • Lead projects involving new services, platform implementations, capacity enhancements, software and hardware upgrades, network optimisation, redundancy enhancements and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) deployments.
  • Define and govern project scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, milestones and in-service targets.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track tasks, dependencies, deliverables, costs and overall progress.
  • Manage project financial forecasting, cost estimates, budgets and controls to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies while maintaining overall business and operational readiness.
  • Build strong relationships with project sponsors, Business, IT, Network, Development, Quality Assurance and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications and Call Centre teams to support channel readiness and successful product and service launches.
  • Manage third-party vendors to ensure contracted products and services meet agreed requirements, quality standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate with release and implementation teams to support successful deployment of network, platform and application changes into production.
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability across project teams and delivery partners.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Project Charters, Project Plans, Risk Management Plans, Issue and Action Logs and status reports.
  • Lead regular project status meetings and Steering Committee meetings, providing clear updates to sponsors, project teams and senior leadership.
  • Communicate project scope, schedules, financials, risks and progress effectively to senior and C-level leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused environment that encourages teamwork, innovation and delivery excellence.

What You Bring

  • A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 7-12 years of project management experience delivering large and complex initiatives, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • PMP certification is required.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate highly complex project information clearly.
  • Confidence presenting scope, cost, schedule, risks and delivery status to senior and C-level executives.
