What is the role?
Roku is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our VP-level engineering leaders across the United States and EMEA. In this role, you’ll be a critical partner in helping our engineering executives stay focused on strategic initiatives by managing the operational and administrative details that keep everything running smoothly. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where precision, discretion, and adaptability are key.

What are the responsibilities of the role?
- Provide daily administrative support to engineering VPs, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and materials for engineering leadership meetings; attend virtual meetings to capture notes and track action items.
- Coordinate meetings and virtual events across global time zones, ensuring seamless logistics and follow-through.
- Collaborate with other executive assistants and cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and communications.
- Assist with special projects, data analysis, and research assignments related to engineering operations.
- Create purchase orders and manage vendor invoicing for engineering-related services.
- Serve as a backup for other administrative functions and provide coverage as needed.
What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?
- 7+ years of experience as an executive assistant, with a strong track record supporting engineering or technical leadership.
- Experience working apart from leaders; and experience working with US based companies.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email and document drafting.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset-able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively across remote teams and time zones.
- Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and calendar management tools.
- Experience in a high-tech or engineering organization is highly preferred.
