Join Roku as a Senior Software Engineer in the Enterprise Engineering team. You will design, build, and deploy scalable web applications and services, drive architecture discussions, and ensure compliance with security and audit requirements. You will also contribute to the improvement of engineering tools and development processes. This role requires a strong background in building large-scale software platforms, microservices, and cloud-based systems.
Missions
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications and services, contributing to web technology and framework stack decisions.
- Drive architecture discussions, take ownership and responsibility over new projects, and deliver high-quality software within tight timelines.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure applications meet compliance, security, and audit requirements.
Profil recherché
- Strong experience with test-driven development and test automation- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-driven, and make practical trade-offs based on business needs
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience developing microservices
- Experience creating workflows for Apache Airflow is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Deep understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and data structures
- 5+ years of experience delivering multi-tier, highly scalable, distributed web applications
- Working experience with Terraform is a plus
- Experience developing finance applications is a plus
