Software Engineer - Integration

THE ROLE

We are looking to hire an experienced Software Engineer to join the integrations team.

This role will be based out of our central Manchester office.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• You’ll work across a serverless, event-driven architecture on AWS, contributing to services that ingest, enrich, and distribute millions of product records across our brands and e-commerce partners.

• Building and extending serverless data pipelines using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and Step Functions
• Developing and maintaining GraphQL APIs via AWS AppSync
• Integrating with third-party e-commerce platforms and marketplace APIs
• Managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK
• Supporting AI-driven product enrichment work using AWS Bedrock
• Writing well-tested TypeScript across a microservices monorepo, with some Python
• where needed

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Essential:

• Solid TypeScript / Node.js experience in a production environment
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, using Terraform and/or AWS CDK
• Comfort working in an event-driven, microservices architecture
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (DynamoDB)
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (we use Jest)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS AppSync or GraphQL API development
• Python scripting in a data or pipeline context
• Knowledge of data pipeline patterns or ETL/ELT workflows
• Exposure to AWS Athena or data warehousing concepts
• Experience with e-commerce, marketplace or product data integrations
