  • Own the Engineering Spend and Capital budgets for Manufacturing Operations, ensuring alignment, governance, and executive approval across the Five-Year Plan (5YP) and other business planning cycles.
  • Drive portfolio governance and prioritisation processes, balancing capacity, resources, funding, and business risk to ensure the highest-value initiatives are delivered within affordability constraints.

  • Coordinate stakeholders across Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Programme teams to align plans, resolve conflicts, manage trade-offs, and deliver integrated business outcomes.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide view of operational, supply chain, and business continuity risks, ensuring portfolio interventions, investment decisions, and recovery actions support delivery commitments and long-term resilience.

Preferred requirements:

  • Strong ability to take a holistic business view, ensuring alignment across multiple processes, functions, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify meaningful insights, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous environments and navigating across multiple business processes and organisational priorities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and cross-functional teams through formal governance structures.
  • Strong programme and portfolio management expertise, with the ability to establish robust frameworks, controls, and delivery disciplines.
