At Roofr, building a powerful user experience starts with data. As a Senior Data Analyst at an early-stage, high-growth company, you’ll play a critical role in turning raw data into insights that shape product decisions, drive strategy, and improve the customer experience. You’ll have a direct impact on how we use data to grow, and help influence the roadmap for how analytics evolves at Roofr.

This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and business, ideal for someone comfortable moving between modeling data, building dashboards, and advising senior leadership on growth opportunities.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Partner directly with business and product owners to shape roadmaps, prioritize features, and measure success
• Build an AI-first business intelligence platform to supercharge self-serve analysis
• Deliver actionable insights on user behavior, market trends, and business performance to marketing, revenue and product teams.
• Lead sales and marketing analytics by defining KPIs and optimizing our acquisition funnels.
• Tell compelling data stories to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Transform, clean, and model raw data using DBT to create reliable, analytics-ready datasets
• Take ownership of our analytics foundation, inheriting existing models (DBT) and data warehouse structure (Snowflake) to clean, improve, and scale them alongside a Senior Analytics Engineer.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and/or data science, ideally on sales, marketing, and growth analytics at a SaaS company
• Expertise hacking AI/ML and automation tools for growth purposes, on top of using Claude, Cortex and other AI tools to streamline analytics workflow
• Proficient in BI tools like Metabase, Sigma, Tableau, Omni, or Looker
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with DBT for managing the Transform layer of ELT pipelines
• Ability to work cross-functionally to define metrics, create dashboards, and ensure data quality
• A strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Compensation Band: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 CAD

Our compensation ranges are built using multiple market benchmarks and reflect both the scope of the role and current market data. While many hires fall within the beginning to midpoint of the band to allow for growth over time, we tailor offers based on each candidate’s experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.
