Sales Support Trainee

The Sales Support Trainee is an entry-level development role designed to enable structured training and exposure across Rotork's Inside Sales, Contracts, and Service functions. Reporting to the Inside Sales & Contracts Supervisor, the role supports quotation, order management, contract administration, service execution, and customer support activities while developing technical, commercial, and operational skills.

Through a structured rotational program, the trainee will gain broad exposure to Rotork's products, systems, processes, and customer requirements, building the knowledge and experience needed for future specialist roles within the organization.

Rotational Program

The Sales Support Trainee will participate in a rotational development program across the following departments:

• Inside Sales Department
• Contracts Department
• Service Department

The planned duration of each rotation is eight (8) months per department.

The duration, sequence, and timing of each rotation may be adjusted according to Rotork's business requirements, resource availability, operational priorities, and development objectives. Rotork reserves the right to modify the trainee's assignment and rotation schedule as required by organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support actuator and valve sizing activities, order processing, project milestone monitoring, and service coordination under appropriate supervision
• Support quotation, order management, contract administration, and service-related activities to ensure effective execution of customer requirements and internal processes.
• Assist in the review and interpretation of customer RFQs, technical specifications, purchase orders, contracts, and service requests.
• Support the preparation of commercial proposals, service quotations, technical-commercial documentation, and project-related reports.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotations, orders, contracts, projects, and service activities within company systems.
• Coordinate with customers, sales teams, service personnel, factories, and other internal stakeholders to obtain information, monitor progress, and support on-time delivery of commitments.
• Assist in the planning, administration, and follow-up of orders, contracts, projects, and service interventions, including documentation, reporting, and schedule tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and develop technical, commercial, and operational knowledge through rotational assignments across the Inside Sales, Contracts, and Service Departments.

Experience Requirements

• Technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical systems.
• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Recent graduate or early-career professional seeking technical-commercial development.
• Understanding of actuators, valves, industrial automation, or flow control equipment is desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
