Federal Credits & Incentives Tax Associate (Fall 2027/Winter 2028)

As a member of our CIM group, working specifically with Federal Credits and Incentives (FCI)you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around two core concepts: your technical and quality expertise and delivering excellent client service:

Examples of the candidate’s responsibilitiesinclude:

• Assist with tax planning and research, as it relates to theResearch and Development (R&D) credit, and other federal credits and incentives.

• Assist in implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of resources

• Assist with drafting opinion letters and writing other technical memoranda

• Develop an understanding of client's business

• Help drive the success of multiple R&D, or federal creditsengagements

• Maintain competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications

BasicQualifications:

• Minimum B.A. orB.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university

• Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations

• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work effectively on a team

• Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
