Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the Connected Products (CP)(automated operational data used to support, maintain and improve the product) and Engine Health Management (EHM) team, responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth and or cost mitigation strategies across the commercial engine’s portfolio. This role also serves as a project leader for key initiatives ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and digital service innovation. The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, strategic program management, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership, working with Engineering, Digital Technology, Engine Programs, CFTs, and key external partners to drive aligned commercial and technical outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Business Development:

• Lead and support business development initiatives aligned with the Enterprise and Connected Products strategy.

• Use operational data to help support, maintain and improve the product.

• Identify, evaluate, and execute new opportunities driven by internal requirements, customer needs, and competitive factors.

• Support enterprise initiatives that integrate engine performance data, predictive maintenance tools, and commercial service offerings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including CFTs, Engineering, Digital Technology, Engine Programs, and others to develop strategic plans and deliver program outcomes.

• Support Connected Products growth initiatives and collaboration opportunities across RTX.

• Develop business cases as applicable to support new initiatives.

• Up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required

Project Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional projects leveraging Connected Products and EHM Services capabilities to drive internal and external value aligned with enterprise and digital transformation goals.

• Partner with engineering, digital, aftermarket, and customer support teams to drive development and roll out of new features, analytics, and service offerings.

• Convert customer feedback and operational insights into roadmap improvements for Connected and digital Products.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field with 10 years of experience; Or an advanced degree in the same fields with 7 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry. Experience should include the following:

• Prior experience supporting digital technology and/or connected products within Aerospace, automotive or other industrial industry.

• Experience in Program management and cross-functional teamwork and project management.

• Experience managing complex projects and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

• Strategic thinking and commercial insight

• Strong customer orientation

• Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
