Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter I to join our team in Jamestown, ND. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, visually stunning products that meet the rigorous standards our customers expect.
This will be for 4th shift: Friday-Sunday from 6am - 6:30pm.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements
- Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control.
- Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
- Mix paint to specified viscosity
- Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment
- Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary
- Mask and prep parts for paint as required
- Cure parts after topcoat application
- Operate Chart recorders
Qualifications We Require:
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email
- Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.
- Ability to interpret blueprints
